Nevertheless, a stop can be made at any of the small settlements found along the way.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NATURE RESERVES WITHIN THE TRAIL:\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reserva Natural Especial de Guelgu\u00e9n.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>RECOMMENDED TIME OF THE YEAR:<\/strong> All year round, but avoid rainy days and bad weather in winter.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GETTING TO THE TRAIL:<\/strong> There is a bus service, but the frequency and times make it of little use to hikers. A previously-booked taxi is the best option.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>BASIC RECOMMENDATIONS: <\/strong>Habitual precautions common to hiking in general are listed below. At the risk of sounding obvious, here are some of the most important:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Check weather forecasts before setting off to hike.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don\u00b4t go alone.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tell someone your intended destination and expected time of arrival.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Carry a small rucksack with warm clothing, waterproofs, food and plenty of water.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don\u00b4t forget such simple items as: sun hat, protective cream and sun glasses.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Carry a mobile phone with fully-charged battery, a map and, if possible, a compass.
